A small, welcoming congregation in Glennie, Michigan, gathered around God’s Word and Sacraments. Whoever you are and wherever you’ve been, you are welcome here.
Our Savior Lutheran Church is a close-knit family of believers in Alcona County, rooted in the historic, liturgical worship of the Lutheran tradition. Each Sunday we gather around God’s Word, the Sacraments, and one another — and we’d love for you to join us.
As a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we hold to the teaching that Scripture alone is the Word of God, and that salvation is a gift received by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. You’ll find a warm welcome, simple hospitality, and a sanctuary that has been a home for worship and prayer in this community for many years.
What We Believe →
As a confessional Lutheran congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, our teaching is grounded in Scripture and the historic Lutheran Confessions of the Book of Concord.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the one true standard by which all church teaching is measured.
Salvation is God’s free gift, not something earned. He loved us and sent His Son while we were still sinners.
This gift of grace is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone — trusting in Him, not our own efforts, will bring peace with God.
We confess one God, who has made Himself known as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as taught in the ancient Christian creeds.
In Baptism, God washes away sin, gives the Holy Spirit, and grants new life — a promise held onto throughout the whole of life.
In the Lord’s Supper, Christ gives His true body and blood, together with bread and wine, for the forgiveness of sins.

Have a question, need prayer, or just want to say hello before your first visit? Reach out any time — we’re happy to help.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
